Today was Daddy's birthday so most of the day seemed to be spent finding a cake recipe/going to buy ingrediants and making it. Oh why oh why didn't i just do a regular Victoria sponge??? I decided to make some caramel affair from "Domestic Goddess" which was less than sucessful. I mean it tastes fine, nice even, unfortunately though most of the topping has slid off the cake and is now sitting on the plate (waaaayy too runny).
