Our baking day today and we made the old favourite Chocolate Crispie Cakes. I say we but Millie did most of it. I measured the ingrediants with her and then gave her a pictorial recipe that i had drawn out. She managed pretty well i thought given that my drawings were a bit dodgy (how do you stop a microwave from looking like a TV??) A few more attempts and she should get it completely (and what better excuse to make more!)

In the afternoon she wanted to do some sticking so to keep on the tree theme i printed off a picture of a tree and then printed an extra sheet of parts of a tree which we cut out and she stuck in the appropriate places to make a flip flap book. Afterwards we played with the playdough i made yesterday - the last lot got left in the sun sometime in June, how terrible that i have only just got around to replacing it!!!! Daddy was home early - i say early but actually it was on time for a change :o)
